The LCD interface provides clear status of the UPS key parameters such as input and output voltage, load and battery level, and estimated runtime. Essential configuration capabilities are also offered for output voltage, audible alarm and sensitivity. The 5SC offers USB and serial connectivity. USB port is HID compliant for automatic integration into Windows, Mac OS and Linux. A slot for an optional communication card (including SNMP/ Web card or relay contact card) is available on rack and R/T models. Eaton’s Intelligent Power® Software Suite insures compatibility with all major OS including virtualization software.
Reliability
Pure sinewave output: When operating in battery mode the 5SC provides a high quality output signal for any sensitive equipment connected, such as active PFC (power factor corrected) servers. Buck and Boost operation corrects a wide range of input voltage variations through continuous regulation, without the use of batteries. Stronger, longer battery life: Eaton ABM® battery management technology uses an innovative three-stage charging system that extends battery life by up to 50%.
Flexibility
Rack models are designed to fit into short depth wall enclosures down to 500mm, 2 post racks or to be wall mounted. R/T models authorizes either tower or rack installation - pedestals and rail kits are included with all models at no extra charge. Tower models small size for easy integration even with space constraints (kiosks, cash machines, ticket machines etc.) and up to nine outlets for better flexibility! Types of Warranty
*Collect and Return – In the case of a claim under warranty, TEKshop or the Manufacturer will arrange collection and once the repair is completed, they will return it back to you. This will be at the expense of TEKshop or the Manufacturer.
** Return To Base – In the case of a claim under warranty, you will be responsible for returning the device back to TEKshop, at your expense. TEKshop will then carry the repair and return the device back to you. The return shipping will be at the expense of TEKshop.
*** All PC Components and Accessories will have Return To Base Warranty.

Warranty
We stand by our products!
All our products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty unless stated otherwise on the listing (usually under the conditions tab). This applies to manufacturing defects or hardware faults that develop in the first months of ownership (between 6 and 12 months depending on the item).
All orders are posted with a VAT invoice in the box showing the date of purchase, price and VAT details. Please keep this invoice safe as it is sometimes required for warranty claims. You are of course welcome to contact us for a replacement invoice if needed, and we can also email copies if you would like a digital version.
Please note: Any item delivered damaged must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt.
In the event of a fault developing in the first 14 days of receiving your purchase, please get in touch with us as soon as possible, we will help you with troubleshooting and resolving the issue. If a fault develops after 30 days, you will need to get in touch with the manufacturer to open a warranty claim. This will usually involve letting them know what has gone wrong and they will arrange for the issue to be rectified for you. If for any reason the manufacturer rejects the warranty claim, or you have any other difficulties please contact us and we will be more than happy to help.
