Paul brings a wealth of experience in computing to our blogging team. He has several years of experience with electronics, servers and networking. As a TEKshop team member he has also got countless hours of troubleshooting, diagnostics and customer support under his belt. Particularly with desktop PCs and custom builds, but also extending into laptops and other electronics. 

Outside of work, Paul is an avid PC gamer, with titles including V Rising, Cyberpunk 2077 and Age of Empires. He'll be able to advise on system requirements or computer gaming needs. He's into photography, more specifically the editing and digital retouching side of things in Adobe Creative cloud - one of the things TEKshop is regularly asked about. Often found on his bike in the peak district, or at the burger van just outside of Matlock.

Izzy is a leading SEO specialist who helps the TEKshop team optimise blog and website content. With years of experience running her own business, she brings a unique perspective to the table - understanding what businesses genuinely need from a laptop in a fast-paced commerce environment.

Outside of work, Izzy is passionate about sports, travel, and photography. Most often, you can find her on a treadmill or exploring and capturing destinations near and far.

Mark is one of our in house copywriters and specialist customer support agent. Though perhaps customer support doesn't cut it, so we'll go with customer wizard. He runs his own server environment at home and is absolutely delighted with his Google Smart Home system. Plus with years of experience in troubleshooting and configuration management, he's a welcome addition to our team. 

Away from work Mark is very into computers, especially Linux and other free open source software. A whisky aficionado too, with a flair for cooking. He claims to be excited about his new vacuum cleaner - though we assume it must include a whole host of smart connectivity features!

Danny while new to his role has picked things up quickly bringing years of experience in retail selling and troubleshooting phones, video game consoles and PCs. He also brings some more niche knowledge to the team as a musician and experience in esports/competitive gaming.
 
When not at work, Danny is hugely competitive PC gamer and esports coach with countless hours in tactical FPS and strategy games. He is also a musician, songwriter and producer with EP releases, sold out shows and a few UK tours behind him. However, despite much discussion the TEKshop team decided bringing his dog into the office would be too much of a distraction.

Tiva is the highest ranking member of the TEKshop team - the owner. He's highly educated, with a doctorate in electronics and extremely resourceful. Doing a lot with little to ensure the continued and sustainable growth of the company. Like Batman, he comes and goes and will often have vanished the second you turn around. 

Tiva brings more than 10 years of industry experience to the company, and to our blogs with deep knowledge on the construction and structure of most modern laptop and desktop brands. We usually have a section for 'when not at work' here, but honestly, we're not sure he ever leaves the office...

Curtis joined the TEKSHOP team in August 2024. His primary role is checking prices (to make sure we are offering great value) and listing quality checking (to make sure we are accurate in our listings). His background in E-commerce started 7 years ago, with over 10 years retail experience!

When he is not at work, he spends his free time gaming, cooking, and socialising with friends (mainly drinking Guinness and playing pool).

George is one of TEKshops longest serving members of staff. Having worked from Ecommerce Specialist right up through to General Manager. Having grown with the business he knows all of the ins and outs and is now primarily involved with the sourcing and purchasing of new and exciting products!

Ewan runs the dispactch operation of TEKshop. When something needs to be sent - he's the go to guy: in charge of logistics and warehouse operations. For some reason also the dedicated employee chauffer. 

Have heard second hand that he used to be into 'Freerunning' or 'Parkour'. Like most of the team, he's also into gaming. Ewan can be found wondering around the warehouse or hiding in the online teams office. We don't mind. ;)

Eric is one of our newest team-members but since he's started the impact he's made on the business is incredible. Machines that we once couldn't refurbish, couldn't fix or just plain had to scrap can now be repaired to like new! He's always happy to give advice on electronics, repairs or general nuggets of wisdom in the computing space. 

He's also the companies most cheerful employee! Always smiling, waving and generally having a good time!

During late nights at TEKshop, you can hear odd murmurs of "we need more tea" or "champion" but there is no one there. The next day shelves will be put up, tea bags are missing and laptops are ready to be dispatched. Although sightings are rare, we have nicknamed the ghost Shumble and have decided we are ok with some mild haunting if he gets things done.
