Is a 14 inch laptop a good size?

Most would consider that 14 inches is the smallest size on which you can get some serious work done. It's equally good for media and web browsing, with a good range of processor and screen resolutions available. So for most tasks you need to perform, 14 inch laptops present a great option. Though, for gaming 14 inches could be a bit small, as reflected in the limited choices you have for these. This is due to the limited space for graphics processors, along with gamers naturally favouring larger screens.

Is a 14 inch laptop good for Students?

Do you need a laptop to take with you to school, college or university? If so, 14 inch laptops present an ideal balance of power and portability. In addition, there is a huge range available which cover every budget and feature that students are likely to need. So, whether you're at school or University, don't choose between portability or ability, when you can have both!

Why 14 inch rather than another size?

A 14 inch laptop offers good performance and functionality, but is also small enough to comfortably carry. Anything lower than 14 inch will likely result in reduction to performance, but more portability. Anything bigger can mean more performance, but nobody wants to lug a big heavy laptop around unless they need to! Upgrades are sometimes viable with this size too, where they generally aren't on smaller models. This means that there's a bit of future-proofing with 14 inch laptops that smaller models don't have.
